Vhong Navarro says John Lloyd Cruz deserves to be happy

Even though John Lloyd Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez have repeatedly denied rumors of a romance, a lot of people still believe that there is something special going on between them. Published photos of the two stars together in California further fueled such speculations. Whether it’s true or not, close friends have been giving the pair their support. This included Kanto Boys dance heartthrob Vhong Navarro who told ABS-CBN.com, “Ako naman e kaibigan ko sila pareho. Basta kung saan sila masaya, nandun naman ako, susuportahan ko sila. Basta lang may mga priorities sila, sana, yun ang unahin muna nila, Para din sa kanila yun eh, pati sa families at fans nila.”

Vhong seemed to understand John Lloyd’s plight when it comes to balancing his career and love life. “Alam naman natin na hindi private ang buhay ng artista. So makikita at malalaman natin kung talagang napapansin ng tao yun, so mahirap. Pero nasa pagdadala mo na lang yun, kung magpapaapekto ka o hindi. Basta ang akin lang naman, sana sa mga tao din na sumusuporta, dapat maintindihan din nila na maypersonal life din ang mga artista. Kasi minsan against sila dun sa gusto, yung mahal nila sa buhay, ayaw nila para sa kanya, may ganun e. Pero siyempre hindi naman lahat pwede pakialaman,” he explained.

When it comes down to it, Vhong agreed with John Lloyd’s belief that you can’t fight love when it comes to you. “Naniniwala ako dun siyempre! Ang pag-ibig kapag dumating ‘yan, pagbuksan mo ng pinto. Kapag hindi mo pinapasok ‘yan, ikaw lang ang mahihirapan,” he added.
